After searching for some new stirling engine kits on the internet I found a new kit made by JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency), being sold from Concept+ website.
I have never built a free piston stiring engine. This engine kit is very easy to assemble; I took my time in building it. The kit is very well designed; it is the most unique stirling engine that I have built yet. The displacer in this engine is not connected to the piston, as in other stirling engines I have built in the past. Instead it uses a plastic displacer spring to push the displacer up as the piston comes down.
First run: The engine ran for 1 hour and 22 minutes.
Second run: Made some adjustments to it ran for 1 hour 30 minutes
